I have invited external practitioners/therapists/healers to share their expertise and experience in healing. These online sessions are an hour long and the topics quite varied and I welcome anyone interested in the general area of healing to come along and enjoy these lectures.
No previous experience is needed to join, just curiousity and an interest in expanding your knowledge of healing.
Here are the first three sessions… keep an eye on this page for the next sessions.

The Sound of Water
Healing Sounds in Chinese Medicine.
Drumming has for a long time been used ceremonally and also theraputically. Our indigeneous communities seem to be a lot healther and drumming is a huge part of these cultures. We’ll be focusing on the ‘technical’ aspects of drumming, the resonance in the body and the mind that creates a deeper experience of the self. “path to direct revalation” Martin Duffy. How the drum can be a supportive tool in your sound healing practice.

I look forward to exploring the power of water and sound at this time of Imbolc, Imbolc – meaning “in the belly”. One of the many aspects of Brigid is as midwife, this is the time of nature to reflect on what we are birthing into the world. Joanne with share with us a set of qi-gong exercises (movement and sounds) related to the meridians and the elements of Chinese Medicine.
The six healing sounds are a set of “qi-gong” exercises aimed at detoxifying and strengthening each internal organ. You can choose to use them all at once or focus on one individually when treating a specific organ. The sounds are specifically designed to release excess emotions from the tissues and organs of the body. These sounds help to release trapped emotions so that they don’t carry negative weight and impact health.
