oṁ is a sacred mantra in the yogic tradition. You may have come across the practice of chanting oṁ during a yoga or meditation class. oṁ is probably one of the best known mantras in the world. Yet there still seems to be a lot of mystery around it. Where does it come from and even how to pronounce it. Do you know…

- where it comes from?
- what is the meaning and teachings of oṁ?
- Would you like to know what this oṁ symbol means?
- how to actually pronounce it… aum, oṁ, ohm etc..
- have you ever felt like you’ve been in an oṁ breath competition?! – feeling like the longer you last the ‘better’ you are!!!

Date: Wednesday 24th March – 7-8pm
I have been learning and teaching sacred sounds for almost fifteen years and it has taken me on many interesting journeys through this an other sacred sounds.
Having studied the oṁ with many inspiring teachers and in my own personal practice, I pretty much thought I had the ‘om’ sussed!! This year, I worked with a Sanskrit scholar and yogi, and through this teaching I discovered depths of knowledge that opened the door into a deeper experience that I never thought possible.
I am so passionate about the power of the sound of oṁ as learned through the origin lineage and I can’t wait to share it with you.
No previous experience or vocal ability is required.
This one-hour class is a taster class for a deeper dive into sacred sound over 5 weeks – starting on Wednesday 7th April, click Origin Sound Medicine for all the details.
