We had a stunning weekend, weekend 4 of 5 of Sound Healing Practitioner Diploma with Voice training.
These trainees have come such a long way, personally, professionally, vocally, spiritually... on so many levels.
It is such a joy to see the confidence and skill growing, so many aga moments in the giving and receiving.
Thanks to the @collegeofsoundhealing for creating this training and being so supportive and generous in sharing the gift of sound.
I am filled with joy and love and humbled by the power of us humans to remember who we are and comity yo sharing that widely... it's all vibration!

I'm delighted to be hosting a Breathwork Journey in @angeltimes on Sunday 18th June - 7.30pm - 9.30pm.

This breathwork journey introduces you to the power of conscious connected breathing. A natural, powerful and a deep dive into the longing of the soul to reveal, remember and connect us to true nature. A time to dive into what is holding us back from living life more wholeheartedly.

In this safe and nurturing environment, I will hold a space with you held with sacred intention as we journey through movement, music and breath. This journey invites your breath and soul to be your own guides and lead you to where ever you need to go to remember the truth of your perfect nature, which is love at it’s core.

What will happen in the session?
❤️ We'll connect the group and drop into our body and breath
❤️ You’ll be introduced to the simple conscious breathwork technique

We have moved through the first 6 chakras and this week will explore the qualities of the 7th, Crown Chakra or sahasrara,the thousand petal lotus. 🪷

What I'm called to remember, is that this journey through the chakras isn't a destination, to experience the gifts and insights of the crown chakra, it is essential to to be rooted in the earth, just like the lotus flower. It is through this human body, we sense, feel, experience the connection to the infinite.

💜 Location: located at the top of the head, or slightly above – like a crown, radiating upward.
Linked to the brain and the nervous system. Associated with the pituitary gland, secondarily with the pineal and the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus and pituitary gland work together to regulate the endocrine system (all of the body’s biological processes). Energetically, the seventh chakra has a connection with the first chakra – one with the earth, one with the heavens, siva & shakti.
💜 Element: connection to thought, wisdom, divine, choosing our thoughts. We’ve been cultivating that awareness that we’re not our thoughts in each class, as we pause to watch our thoughts, notice our sensations, feel our feelings.. sinking our breath with our movement.

We will introduce the origins of the sounds, and travel from there to the most famous of mantras oṁ and bīja mantras discover the deeper truths and power of these mantras.

This week we are working with the 6th major energy

This week we are working with the 6th major energy centre in the body. It is located at the center of your forehead between your eyebrows.

We have taken the journey from the lower, 'me' centered chakras, to the mid, 'we' centered chakras and now move to the more subtle chakras where there is a sense of 'something more' beyond ourselves, perhaps a presence/knowing/intuition beyond what we can touch or see. The Sanskrit name for the Third Eye Chakra is Ajna, which means “to perceive.”

It is the space of Chidākāsha - the space (ākāsha) of knowing or consciousness (chit), it is the link between the conscious, subconscious and super-conscious. It is is the seat of our intuition, our deepest wisdom, it teaches us about vision, insight, and spiritual growth.

It invites us to imagine, to dream, to imagine, which allows us to open to new possibilities, beyond what we can see and touch. It is connected to our pineal gland which affects our sleep cycles and circadian rhythms.

When your Third Eye Chakra is not in balance, you may find it hard to make decisions or on the flip side, be close-minded and so detail-oriented that you lose sight of the big picture.

This week in our yoga practice we are moving to the fifth chakra – Vishuddha (pure or purification), our throat chakra.

It is our centre of communication and expression. With ourselves, our inner dialog, with others and also as it sits between the lower chakras and the head, it also governs our internal communication with our true Self.
When this chakra is balanced, we are able to listen to the guidance of pure energy, our soul, our deepest wisdom and truth.
This chakra not only governs voice/sound/thought, it also opens up our listening.
Through the throat, sound is propagated into the air and its vibration can be felt not only in the ears, but through the whole body. Make a soynd and follow it into silence...
💙Element: Ether. It’s all about space – the essence of emptiness. Have you space in your body, in your heart, your head? or is it cluttered?
💙Colour: blue - expansive and open to the blue sky
💙Mantra: ham
The throat chakra is related to the expression of yourself through truth, purpose, creativity and individuality. It is related to the sacral chakra, another centre of emotions and creativity. The throat chakra’s focus is on expressing ideas clearly, gracefully and honestly, and projecting one’s authentic creativity into the world.

This one day Conscious connected breathwork worksh

This one day Conscious connected breathwork workshop is a deep dive into the a deeper wisdom of the soul, to listen, reveal, remember who we are. This breathwork bypasses the mind to reveal a deeper wisdom held in the energy system.The mind will not know how we need to get where we long to, but the energy system does.

A group breathwork session is really amazing and can help to deepen or intensify our soul's journey, gain the courage to go where we need to go while being safely and sacredly held by the group.

This week in our yoga practice we are working with the Heart Chakra 💚 or anahata (which means infinite/unhurt/boundless). It is situated in the centre of the chest at the height of the thymus gland (behind the sternum).
The heart is the bridge between the lower triangle (the root, sacral and solar plexus chakras) and the upper triangle (throat, third eye and crown chakras). It’s the door to our inner temple, our soul, the infinite part of ourselves.
Responsible for relationship with ourself and others, creates balance and establishes healthy boundaries.

💚 Bija: Yam
💚 Element: Air - space, feeling the infinite, like the sky.
💚 Colour: Green associated with nature, freshness, and tenderness. It is a healing and restful.
💚 Mudra: hridaya, roll 1st finger into thumb, finger 2+3 on thumb, finger 4 stretched
💚 Physical Body: Heart, lungs, arms and hands, thymus.
💚 Energetic: connecting lower self with higher self, head brain/heart brain, ‘we’ centred, spirituality
💚 Emotional: relationships, self and others. Self love, boundaries, saying yes and no. compassion and understanding. Being able to give and receive (love) with equal ease. Feeling kindness and compassion for yourself and others. Having a sense of ‘we’ instead of only ‘I’. Feeling a sense of belonging and trusting in your heart as an inner compass.
💚 Mental: I can give and share, without expecting anything in return. I am blessed with abundance and I know when to say ‘no’ and nurture myself. I can accept things as they are and I live in balance, within myself and with the world around me.
